Following on from their release of the Fairey Swordfish Mk.I, Trumpeter now have the Fairey Swordfish Mk.II. Very similar in construction to the Tamiya 1/48 Swordfish, this kit is highly detailed and contains some photo-etched parts including the bracing wires. Numerous underwing stores are present including bombs, smoke bombs and rockets. Markings are for the following aircraft:

• HS180, S6-B, No.815 Squadron, Royal Navy, Western Desert, 1943.
• HS158, No.816 Squadron, Royal Navy, 1943.
