This is the reissued version of the superb Tamiya Lancaster B Mk.I/III kit. This 1/48 scale kit has been updated to include a number of extras that were only previously available as resin conversions, these include:

• Larger bomb aimer's blister.
• Needle-blade propellors.
• Smooth, bulged tyres.
• Unshrouded exhausts.
• Later type twin 0.5" rear gun turret.

There are markings for four different aircraft:

• Lancaster B Mk.III, PM-M², ED888 of No.103 Squadron.
• Lancaster B Mk.III, "Ad Extremum", BQ-F, ED905 of No.550 Squadron,
• Lancaster B.I, "Picadilly Princess", NG347, QB-P of 424 Squadron.
• Lancaster B Mk.I(FE), TL-F of No.35 Squadron.
