Tamiya 1/350 Japanese Navy Submarine I-400
Description
The I-400 and it's sister the 1-401 were the largest conventional-powered submarines ever built. They were also unusual in that they carried, and could launch, 3 Seiran floatplanes which were stored in a special hangar on the deck of the submarine.
This superbly detailed kit can be built as either a water-line or full-hull model. It includes a display base as well as some photo-etched parts for extra detail. Several Seiran floatplanes are included, one of which has it's own display base. The hangar door can be built open or closed and the Seirans can be displayed in the hangar or out of the hangar in flying configuration.
