Hobby Boss 1/48 F6F-5N Hellcat

Highly detailed kit from Hobby Boss of the F6F-5N Hellcat.

Hobby Boss continues their line of Grumman Ironworks products with this very nice kit of the F6F-5N Hellcat. It features a detailed cockpit, engine, engine accessory compartment and landing gear, wings that can be assembled folded or spread, separate flaps, centerline drop tank of the simplified late-war style, bombs and racks and HVAR rockets. This release also features a new sprue of parts with radar pod, flame-damping exhausts, 20mm cannon barrels and a new instrument panel. Decals are for "15" of VF(N)-107 and "59" of VMF(N)-541.
