Hasegawa 1/32 Fieseler Fi156C Storch
Description
The Fi156 Storch was the primary battlefield observation and reconnaissance aircraft of the German Air Force during WWII. Featuring a high aspect ratio wing with leading edge slats and flaps, the plane had excellent STOL (short take-off and landing) characteristics. A Storch piloted by Otto Scorzeny was used to rescue Italian dictator Mussolini in 1943. Versions of the aircraft were produced in France and Czechoslovakia after WWII.
