The Douglas SBD was one of the most effective scout bombers in service in World War II. It served throughout the war in the Pacific Theatre and distinguished itself as the arch nemesis of the Imperial Japanese Navy. The SBD-3A provided twin .50 calibre guns for the radio operator/ gunner and this kit accurately captures the dual gun mount.
